We have resolved a billing issue which was undercounting traffic to customer storage buckets. We will resume correct billing starting on Sept 15, 2023. We are writing to let you know that our system was previously undercounting the traffic to your Storage buckets due to a billing error. We have now fixed this issue and will start to bill for all upload and download operations starting from Sept 15, 2023. You’re receiving this message because you have one or more projects that are using Cloud Storage for Firebase. We would like to apologize for any impact this issue may have on your organization. What do you need to know? Our billing system was previously undercounting the traffic to your Storage buckets. In particular, upload and download operation requests to the Firebase Storage API were not fully accounted for in our billing and quota calculations. This issue allowed some projects' count of upload and download operations to be incorrectly billed and metered. We have taken steps to fix this issue and will be starting to bill for all upload and download operations moving forward starting from Sept 15, 2023.
